Exclude Tab

You can tell CCleaner Network to exclude additional files and folders on this tab.

Adding a new file for CCleaner Network to exclude

  1. Select Add File.
  2. In the Add File dialog box, type the full path and file name (for example, C:\Program Files\Common Files\temp.tmp).
  3. Select OK.

Editing an existing Exclude rule

  1. Select the rule in the list.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Make the changes to the rule, and then select OK.

Removing an existing Exclude rule

  1. Select the rule in the list.
  2. Select Remove.
  3. You are prompted to confirm the removal.

Adding a new folder for CCleaner Network to exclude

  1. Select Add Folder.
  2. Fill out the Add Folder dialog box as below.
Item Description Notes
Path The absolute path to the folder.
Include the folder name. For example, C:\TEMP\
File Selection Whether to exclude all files in the folder, or only specific file types.

File Types If you select File types above, specify the file types here.
The syntax is *.ext;. For example: *.pdf; *.bmp; *.jpg

Adding a new Registry key for CCleaner Network to exclude

  1. Select Add Registry.
  2. Fill out the Add Registry dialog box as below.
Item Description Notes
Root Key Select the root key for the Windows Registry For more information on root keys, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Registry#Root_keys
Registry Key Path Type the full path to the Registry key for CCleaner to exclude.
